MICHAEL ALEXANDER
Stride Orthopedics Ltd., owned by Michael Alexander, specializes in orthotics and the manufacturing of orthotics, as well as the importing and marketing other orthopedic aids.
Working in the company are Michael Alexander, Vivian Alexander, a team of manufacturing workers and a team that manages the office.
Michael Alexander obtained his orthotics qualifications from the Lewis National Rehabilitation Institute at Tel Hashomer (Tel Aviv), and is officially recognized by the Ministry of Health.
Michael Alexander has put it as one of the purposes of Stride Orthopedics Ltd. and of him self, to advance and assimilate the use of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) in the rehabilitation of CVA survivors, and pediatric CP patients. Michael Alexander has accumulated wide experience in FES and so understands the potential of FES.
In the international O&P congress ISPO Liepzig 2010 he has chaired the AFO session and has presented the following lecture:
Observations of Peroneal Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) with cp pediatric population.

The orthotics manufacturing plant of Stride Orthopedics Ltd. is located in Zvia in the Segev Bloc (45 minutes from Haifa In the Galilee).

VIVIAN ALEXANDER
Vivian Alexander has completed three academic degrees and her specialized work in child development combines orthotics with physiotherapy. This combination of academic skills and lengthy practical physiotherapy experience is a unique combination, enabling her to recognize special needs, and to interact freely at the highest levels with Physiotherapists and Doctors to design and execute the most suitable and efficient orthotic devices for their patients.

Physiotherapy - B. PT - Tel Aviv University.
Developmental disorders - M.A. - New York University.
Orthotics - Northwestern Medical School, Chicago.
Nancy Hylton Orthosis (DSS) - The Federal Academy of Orthopaedic Technology, Germany.
Vivian Alexander specializes in:
- The manufacture of orthopedic aids, splints, and foot supports for children in general and especially for children with walking difficulties resulting from CP or other musculoskeletal diseases. The products are also available for adults in general and especially for those with neurological problems.
- Child development counseling from birth.
- Lectures: Vivian is frequently called on to lecture on orthotics to medical and paramedical personnel in Israel and Europe.
- Heart Walker - A unique walker for children with CP . This is a joint project with the Child Development Institute, Ziv Hospital, Safed.
